Under construction structure dismantled

JAMMU, Dec 11: Continuing the anti encroachment drive a team of forest officials of Jammu Forest Division led by Range Officer Jindrah Kailash Choudhary, Shiv Kumar I/C Block Officer, Jindrah removed encroachment from Compartment No. 8/Jindrah of Jindrah Block at Pavana Korga Village and dismantled one under construction structure and retrieved back Forest land from the clutches of Akbar S/o Haji Abdul Karim despite resistance from the encroacher the operation was successfully conducted by the forest team. In an another anti encroachment operation, forest team led by the Sh. Rakeshwar Singh Block Officer Bajalta and Beat Guards with the assistance of Police personnel from Police Post Sidhra and FPF personnels dismantled illegal shed constructed on Forest land in Compartment No. 63/Bajalta.
DFO Jammu Sh. Sat Paul, IFS added that the department is taking measures to prevent encroachment on Forest Land and Anti Encroachment Drive in the Jammu Forest Division is going on and filed staff is vigilant. He further added that the Forest Department is taking measures to prevent encroachment and the encroachers will not be spared at any cost.
