Ishan wins 6-Red Ball event

JAMMU, Dec 11: Ishan Singh won a close contest against Avish Sharma making it 3-2 in the best of five game in the 6-Red Ball event of the ongoing State Billiards and Snooker Championship, organised by the J&K Billiards and Snooker Association at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today. Leading by two frames 41-14, 39-32, Ishan lost the following two to find the score levelled at 2-2. However, he clinched the decider 66-30 to make it 3-2. The score: 41-14, 39-32, 15-39, 04-44, 66-30.
Manik Sharma and Jasmin Singh were other two winners of the scheduled matches while Sourav Dogra and Ritin Sethi got walkovers.
The Results: Manik Sharma bt Deepu 3-0 (31-11, 51-15, 48-20); Jasmine Singh bt Rishab Arora 3-1 (14-31, 41-12, 45-10, 47-20); Ishan Singh bt Avish Sharma 3-2 (41-14, 39-32, 15-39, 04-44, 66-30); Sourav Dogra got walkover Somnath Amla; Ritin Sethi got walkover Aasim Rashid.
