Lawrence School bags first prize in Inter-School skit competition

JAMMU, DEC 13:Lawr ence Public School students bagged first prize in the Inter-School skit competition held at Alexander Memorial School under the aegis of Youth Talent Search - a forum of schools. Approximately eighty students from eight reputed School of Jammu participated in this competition. The winning team portraited the role of Shaheed Bhagat Singh during India's freedom struggle. The theme for the skit competition was India's freedom struggle 1857 - 1947. The performing students were Mohd. Mudasir, Mitalli Pandita, Vanshika Baru, Minha Shamim, Rizwan Hussain Shah, Mohd. Arbaaz Khan, Gungun Bhat, Karunesh Singh, Ritish Jamwal & Samia Zahid.
The performance was judged by Director Mr. Mushtaq Kak & Actor Director Sandeep Verma. The criteria for the judgedment was the quality of script, props, costumes, acting, dialogue delivery & expressions.
The students were congratulated by Mrs. Shivani Joshi Headm istress Lawrence Public School. She appreciated the efforts of Mrs. Aparna Gupta in preparing the students for this competition.
