| 1 dies 2 injured in road mishaps | | | Srinagar: One person died while two others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.
A Tipper bearing registration number JK01H/4758 hit and critically injured a pedestrian Shahid Ahmad Daga 17 years, son of Mehraj-ud-Din resident of Pantha Chowk near Bus Terminal Panthachowk Srinagar. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment, where he breathed his last. A case has been registered in this regard.
In another accident a Tata 407 bearing registration number JKoAL/7075 hit and injured a pedestrian Pooja 8 years, daughter of Lal Row Singh resident of Katra Jammu at main market Sonamarg, Ganderbal, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Sonamarg. The injured has been shifted to Primary Health Center Sonamarg where from she has been referred to SKIMS Soura Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
In another accident one Faqir Bhai son of Maji Bhai resident of Gayaz Padhra, Gujarat was hit and injured by his own Bus bearing registration number GJ6Z2/3579 at Baba Reshi, Baramulla, falling under jurisdiction of Police Post Baba Reshi, Tangmarg. The injured has been hospitalized. A case has been registered in this regard.
