Martial Arts competition gets underway

SRINAGAR, Feb 13: Organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) district Srinagar, the Martial Arts competition got underway at Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex, here under the 'Sports for Peace and Development', part of the Khelo India scheme. As per a handout issued here today, the three-day competition is being held in the disciplines of Sqay, Wushu, Judo for school boys and girls.
The opening day witnessed around 100 such participants competing in Sqay Martial Art event.
