Basant Panchami celebrated at Shiksha Niketan School

JAMMU, FEB 13: Shiksha Niketan Sr. Sec. School celebrated Basant Panchami as well as organized a talent hunt for the student of junior and senior wing. The Amar house organized the whole event. The school was beautifully decorated with yellow color theme. The students made colorful handmade kites, buntings, flowers. Samridhi Jasrotia of class 10th threw the light on the day. This day is marked as the birthday of Goddess Saraswati as well as start of spring season. A beautiful Saraswati Vandhana was presented by the girls of class 6th.
After that a talent hunt of singing competition and kite flying competition was organized between junior and senior group. Both groups performed in an excellent way. Overall the programme was a great success. At last sh. Rameshwar mengi worthy principal of the school appreciated one and all and also wished everyone happy Basant Panchami and gave away prizes to all the participants.
