Snow Skiing Course concludes at Gulmarg

SRINAGAR, FEB 14: Organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), the first batch of young boys and girls completed their Snow Skiing course at Gulmarg, here.
As per a handout issued by the Department, 107th edition of DYSS Skiing course was attended by 30 young trainees from eight districts of Kashmir Division.
In the valedictory of the course, Manager JKTDC Gulmarg, Abdul Majeed Qureshi was chief guest, who gave away the prizes to those position holders of the events held during the course.
The Results: Techniques: Faizan Javeed of Anantnag, Ist; Saifan Shafi of Pulwama, 2nd and Momin Mushtaq of Baramulla, remained third. Salolom: Muzamil Ahmed Malik of Baramulla, Ist; Faizan Javeed of Anantnag, 2nd and Suhail Ahmed Dhobi, again of Anantnag, third.
Meanwhile, the second batch of the course shall take place from February 15 to February 27. The exclusive girls course shall begin from February 28, the handout added.
