Jammu, Feb 15:J&K Grameen Bank organized three Financial Literacy Awareness Programmes among unbanked villages of Branch Office Barwal, Khour & Jourian under District-Kathua & Jammu. Financial Inclusion& Insurance Department under the chairmanship of Sh.Janak Raj Angural in collaboration with NABARD organized threeDigital-Financial Literacy Awareness Programmesin different unbanked villages of the Branch Barwal, Khour & Jourian under District-Kathua & Jammu. Chairman District Legal Authority, KusumLataPanditaone of the chief guestspraises and congrats to Financial Inclusion & Insurance Department for being awarded by NABARD for outstanding performances in Micro Finance & Financial Inclusion works in the State Credit Seminar organised by NABARD.He then awared the gathering about the useful of various legal service and then stressed upon the various schemes of the Bank to be used by them.
Raja Ram Singh, SarpanchHalqaLogate, was the organiser andthe Guest of Honour on the occasion, appreciated the efforts of the bank towards social security schemes and applauded that the bank is making extraordinary efforts to make the national programme of social schemes a big success.
NonitSambyal, Branch Head Kour, J&K Grameen Bank, highlightedthat the programme intends to impact the gathering regarding digitisation by educating the people about the benefits of digital banking and cash less economy. He highlighted that with our thrust on enabling an impactful mindset changes towards Cash to cashless economy.
