Maintain peace, unite against enemy: Jamwal

JAMMU,FEB16: Civil society for Development of Jammu and Kashmir (CSD J&K) president Puneet Singh Jamwal has asked people to not to get swayed away in emotions and maintain peace in the state at all costs. The enemy, he added wants unrest to prevail in our state and by resorting to uncalled for protests and damages to the properties we will be giving our hostile neighbors enough fodder to play with their dirty games and take advantage of this situation.
While condemning Pulwama attack and describing it as cowardice act of militants, Puneet Singh Jamwal said the entire nation stands by the families of martyrs and their sacrifices will not go waste. However, we will have to trust our security forces and let them decide revenge as per their trainings. The morale of soldiers, he added is high and we as civilians must add to their strength and not deviate their attention from enemy to internal security.
The CSD J&K chief asked youth to ensure safety of citizens and at the same time show the world that this incident will be revenged in most befitting manner. Accusing Pakistan of aiding and abetting militancy from its soil, he added that magnitude of this attack is no less than that of 9/11 and the hostile neighbor has hit us below the belt. This, he said has angered the nation and will not be forgotten or forgiven.
Expressing is concern over the violence that left properties damaged, Puneet Singh Jamwal said government must not allow such incidents to happen and try to hold meetings with civil society members immediately asking them to cooperate at this hour for maintaining peace. The police personnel should also be deployed at sensitive places to contain such violence.
