Tributes paid to army officer martyred in mine blast

Jammu, Feb 17: Tributes paid to our brave martyr Maj Chitresh Singh Bisht, who laid down his life in service to the Nation on 16 Feb 2019 at Nowshera, District Rajouri (J&K). Today in a wreath laying ceremony at Air Force Station Jammu, wreaths were laid by Brig TK Chopra, Dy GOC, Tiger Division, Brig DP Singh, BGS (Int) White Knight Corps, Gp Capt GS Tung, and other officers in station. The mortal remains of the officer were transported in service aircraft from Jammu to Dehradun. The nation will always remain indebted to him for the supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty. The last rites will be performed at his hometown tomorrow.
