DDC holds public grievances redresal camp at Ramban

RAMBAN, Feb 18: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Ramban, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today conducted one day public grievances redressal camp at Ramban to listen grievances and problems of public for speedy disposal of issues.
ACD G.H Kripak, DPO Tariq Saurawardy , Xen PHE, Bashir Ahmed, CPO, Uttam Singh, besides PRIs and large number of public were present on the occasion.
Various deputations comprising Sarpanches, Panches and several individuals resident of various panchyats called on DDC and apprised him about their grievances besides raising several developmental issues and called for taking urgent measures for ensuring their redressal at an earliest.
Public of Kanga, Tanger and Parnote raised issues being faced by local residents including damages, compensation and restoration of water, power supply, construction of houses under PMAY-G, sanction of electric poles, transformers, construction of toilet complex, inclusion of deserving left out people in PMAY-G beneficiaries list, construction of link roads and land compensation etc. were discussed.
Besides giving patient hearing to the deputations, the DDC redressed number of issues on the spot and directed to the concerned officers to resolve the public issues immediately and report action taken. DDC directed the XEN, PHE to conduct a survey of Kanga, Tanger area for assessment of damages and preparation of DPRs for restoring water supply schemes. DDC also directed the ACD to incorporate the genuine cases in the PMAY-G list.
