JAMMU, Feb 19: BhartiyaJanata Party (BJP) leader Raman Suri while appealing people to maintain peace and brotherhood said that relaxation given by the district administration should be utilised to procure essentials and bring the city back on rails. Condemning Pulwama incidents that resulted into martyrdom of our valiant army and CRPF personnel, Raman Suri said India has already killed those behind these incidents and is well prepared to meet any challenges posed by enemy. He said the morale of our forces is high and nothing can deter them from defending borders especially when civilians were always ready to stand by them during odds.
Raman Suri during curfew relaxation went around the areas along with supporters and appealed people to contribute in bringing normalcy in city. He met cross-sections of people, traders and social activists and urged to maintain peace and open their establishments according to relaxations given by the district administration. Accusing Pakistan of fomenting trouble here, Raman Suri said that BJP led coalition government by withdrawing Most Favoured Nation (MFS) status from Pakistan and snapping all ties with hostile neighbour has respected sentiments of people and especially families of soldiers who laid down their lives for nation. He said only BJP government can take such a nation head-on. Raman Suri while paying his tributes to martyrs said that nation is passing through a very sensitive phase and this is the time when hands of Prime Minister NarendraModi should be strengthened. He asked party cadres to prepare for coming general as well as assembly polls and defeat those forces who have no respect for martyrs and are out to divide nation on communal and regional lines.
