Forest Conservator visits Biodiversity Park site in Ganderbal

GANDERBAL, FEB 19:
Conservator of Forests Srinagar Circle Irfan Ali Shah today inspected the approved site for the development of Biodiv ersity Conserv ation Park at Harran, Sindh Forest division, Ganderbal.
On the spot directions were given to the DFO Sindh division Owais Farooq Mir for site fencing, development of Chinar and Salix groves, pinetum, rosary, medicinal plants section, interpretation area, bird area, pond and water channel development, landscaping etc. Later on the Conservator of Forests had an interaction with the locals and village committees. After giving them a patient hearing, the Forest Conservator issued on the spot directions to the concerned officers to redress the grievances.
