DDC Poonch reviews Baisakhi arrangements

POONCH, MARCH 25: District Development Commissioner today chaired a meeting to discuss necessary arrangements for upcoming Baisakhi festival here.
SSP Romesh Kumar Angral, ADC Malikzada Shehraz ul Haq, Heads of various Gurudwara Committees, members of civil society, officers of civil administration attended the meeting. During the meeting DDC was appraised about the necessary arrangements to be put in place on the eve of Baisakhi. The various arrangements included the Drainage system on Nangali Saheb road, traffic arrangements, security arrangements besides uninterrupted supply of electricity and water at all important Gurudwaras of Poonch Town.
DDC directed the concerned district officers to put all the necessary arrangements in place in time. He directed the officers of PWD to repair and clear the road leading to Nangali Saheb. He also directed for the cleanliness in and around all the main Gurudwaras. DDC further directed for establishing Medical Camps at the Gurudwaras.
SSP while speaking during the meeting informed the meeting that the required security and traffic arrangements will be put in place during Baisakhi festival.
