3-day training for female poll staff commences at Doda

DODA, APRIL 13: In view of the forthcoming General Elections in the district, a hands-on three-day training regarding election related material and poll procedure was inaugurated here today.The programme was conduct under the supervision of District Election Officer Dr Sagar D. Doifode.
During the inaugural session, Master trainer Fayaz Mehta, ALMTs Dr Akhter Hussain and Mohammad Irfan acquainted the female polling staff about the functioning of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) machines in detail. The trainers explained about the functioning of Ballot Unit, Control Unit and other allied functions and operations of the electronic voting machines.
The Sealing of Control Unit and VVPAT was also shown to participants during the training programme.
The ALMTs further briefed the participants about poll star(an innovative and versatile platform for quick and error free collection of polling statistics).
Pertinently, DEO Doda has identified two model women polling stations at district headquarters for the Lok Sabha elections.ACD Doda Devender Singh Bhau who is Nodal officer Trainings also attended the training.
