Army conducts lecture on career guidance for students

UDHAMPUR, April 13: Indian Army has relentlessly endeavoured to motivate the youth of rural areas, build their confidence and promote their talent. As part of the sustained efforts to empower the youth, a lecture on 'Career Guidance' for students of Government High School, Summewali of Ramban district was conducted today.
Youth are the driving factor in developmental activities and therefore need to be channelised towards nation building in a planned and focused manner. The aim of lecture was educating the students about the large number of job opportunities available within the State and other parts of the country in both Government & Private sectors. A total of 37 students attended the lecture.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal of the school expressed his gratitude towards the Indian Army for organising such informative and motivational event to boost the morale of the students, encourage talent and provide impetus in fostering confidence amongst the future generation of our great country. The students also thanked the organisers for the valuable guidance to them on this life changing aspect.
