Army conducts awareness lecture

JAMMU, April 15: A motivational lecture was conducted by Indian Army at Youth Employment Guidance Node (YEGN), Gigrial, Akhnoor which was attended by 43 students to identify potential youth from border villages of Khour Tehsil and guide them in joining Indian Armed Forces. The interaction saw spirited participation and the Army remains the favourite career choice, reflecting the high regard for the Indian Army in these areas. The YEGN, Gigrial is a fully equipped recruitment training centre located in Sainth Village with all requisite information on career choices, books and computers. Two instructors are also dedicated to impart training to the youth. The guidance will help shape the future of the youth of the area. The local populace, especially the youth appreciated the efforts of the Army in empowering the youth of the region.
