NC OBC Cell urges electors to vote for strengthening secularism

JAMMU, April 25: National Conference OBC Cell on Monday urged the electors of Kathua-Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha Constituency to come forward in a big way and exercise their franchise in favour of the secular forces, saying this will greatly help in isolating communal and divisive elements.
Stepping up campaign in favour of Mr Vikramaditya Singh for the Udhampur Parliamentary seat, the Co-Chairperson OBC Cell Mr Abdul Gani Teli addressed public meeting at Rajbagh in Kathua which was organized by Gurcharan Singh OBC Cell Block President and exuded confidence that National Conference supported Congress candidate will win with a big margin.
The Co-Chairperson said division of people on religious lines is a biggest challenge to the state that has to be countered by effectively promoting the spirit of inconclusiveness. He reminded those sowing seeds of mistrust and hate for their political survival that their machinations have never succeeded in the past and can't divide the people in future as well.
Mr Teli hoped that the voters of the constituency will ensure victory of the Congress candidate, which will essentially mean victory of the policies of the National Conference that believes in unity and diversity. Those present on the occasion included:- Mr Sagar Chand Ex-MLA, Mr Dhian Chand, Mr Bharti Sharma, Mr Naresh Sharma, Mr Shakeel Ahmed , Mr Harjeet Singh, Mr Amarjeet, Mr Sham Narian , Mr Parminder Singh, Mr Ashu Rajput, Mr Bittu Mehra , Mr Sunil Mehra and others.
