Guest Lecture on Fire and Evacuation organized

JAMMU, Apr 16: Guest Lecture on fire and evacuation involving students and fire fighters was conducted at Delhi Public School, Udhampur to create awareness among the student community of fire fighting techniques and the ways to respond swiftly in times of such emergency situation. Divisional Fire officer DFO Mr.Tez Krashan Raina was the Chief spokes person who threw light on the mitigation measures to reduce the risk of life and property.
They explained various improvised methods being followed by them to rescue and evacuate people caught in such emergency situation besides explaining the ways to operate the fire extinguishers safely. The lesson proved to be informative and an imperative lessons on life saving skills Principal of the school Dr Kunal Anand thanked Mr Tez Krashan Raina for enlightening the students and staff for the same , later the school presented a memento to Mr Raina as A token of love and appreciation. Mrs. Rakhi Gupta CCA coordinator of DPS UDHAMPUR presented formal vote of thanks .
