DLSA organizes legal services awareness prog at Leh

LEH, APRIL 19: District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) organized a legal service awareness programme at District Court Complex, Leh. The programme organized in collaboration with District Bar Association was chaired by Chairman, District Service Legal Authority, Leh (Pr. District and Session Judge) R S Jasrotia.
During the programme, legal awareness was given to Sarpanches and Nambardars of Leh, Kharu, Chushot and Nimmo blocks on the protection of children from sexual violence Act. 2018, Mediation, Lok Adalat, Legal Service Authority Act, Panchayati Raj Act, Public Service Guarantee Act, RTI and Social Welfare Schemes.Retainer Lawyers and PLVs also attended the programme. Besides, Chief Judicial Magistrate, B.A. Munshi, Retainer Lawyer, Secretary DLSA Spalzes Angmo, Advocate Bar President Mohd Shafi Lassu, Retainer Lawyer Thinles Angmo also deliberated on the occasion and underlined the provisions of all these schemes.
All the speakers have highlighted the activities of District Legal Service Authority, Leh and appealed to all the participants to take maximum advantage of legal service provided by District Legal Service Authority, Leh.
