ASN School conducts Guru Vandana Chattra Abhinandan Programme

JAMMU, MAY 6: The Management of A.S.N.Hr.Sec.School, Channi Himmat, Jammu today conducted Guru Vandana Chattra Abhinandan Programme inside the school auditorium to enhance student- teacher relationship in order to improve the educational system and to inculcate values amongst the students. Around 200 students of the school participated in the programme.
The programme started with lighting of traditional lamp, garlanding of Mother India followed by "Vandey Matram Song". The programme was conducted by Shivalik Branch of Bharat Vikas Parishad, Mrs. Sunita Mahajan (President), Mrs. Anuradha Gupta (Vice-President), Dr. D.R.Kotwal (Patron), Mr. Ashok Gupta (State Executive), Mr. R.P.Gandotra (State Vice President), Mrs. Trishla Gupta (Ex-President), Mr. Anju Bansal- Member Shivalik Branch. Mr. Ritesh Kapoor, Administrator of the School was the Chief Guest on the occasion. He said that in today's era students are hiding from their social responsibilities and are becoming just self centered human beings and forgetting our own cultural heritage.
He said that everyday a child start his day from his own house so he must learn to obey his parents first and then teachers at utmost to follow this with heart and soul. He congratulated the members of Bharat Vikas Parishad for showing their contribution in creating awareness amongst the students about Indian Culture & also their responsibilities towards the society as well as nation at large. The proceeding of the programme was conducted by Mr. Ashok Gupta, State Executive Body Member of Bharat Vikas Parishad. He presented the brief report about the programme.
He added that students need to understand their moral, spiritual and ethical values and must obey their parents and teachers to excel in life. Mr. R.P.Gandotra during his address presented the various activities of Bharat Vikas Parishad which are conducted from time to time.
Mrs. Trishla Gupta presented the importance of Guru Vandana as per Gurukuls in the history and gave the symbolic representation of the same. She said celebrating Teachers Day in schools is basically to show the real contribution of teachers in making the life and future of the students.
