Police works out burglary case, gang of thieves arrested

Jammu, Jun 16: District Police Samba has solved a burglary case registered at P/S Samba with the arrest of three thieves and recovered the stolen items. Reports said that on 10.6.2019 a written complaint was lodged at P/S Samba by two persons namely Suresh S/o Naval Kishore & Nath Ram S/o Parbhat both R/o Rajasthan A/P Barian, Supwal, Samba stating therein that during the intervening night of 29/ 30.5. 2019, some unknown burglars strike in their house and decamped with 03 Mobile Phones and Cash.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR No. 119/2019 U/S 457/380 RPC was registered at P/S Samba and investigation started. On the directions of Dr Koshal Sharma JKPS SSP Samba, a special team of PP Supwal was constituted under the supervision of Inspr. Shiv Dev Singh, SHO P/S Samba & Deepak Digra, Dy.SP Hqrs. Samba to work out the said case.
During course of investigation, the Police team had rounded up several suspects and finally succeeded in arresting the three thieves involved in the said burglary case. The accused persons have been identified as 1) Ram Kumar S/o Gopi chand R/O Khori Arnas, Reasi 2) Surinder Sharma @ Sheendu S/o Shambu Ram R/O Tirmatha Arnas, Reasi 3) Kishore Sharma S/o Makhan R/O Gosal Arnas, Reasi who have confessed their involvement in execution of crime and stolen 03 mobiles were recovered. During sustained questioning 6 more Mobile phones and 01 LED TV were also recovered on their disclosure.
It is pertinent to mention here that the accused Ram Kumar is a notorious thief involved in a number of theft cases registered in District Jammu, Reasi and also at PS Bari Brahmana. Further questioning of the accused persons is going on to ascertain their involvement in other theft cases.
