JMC to provide personal security to its citizens

JAMMU, Jun 20: Jammu Municipal Corporation launched Country's first ever highly affordable digital security solution for the residents namely Jammu Suraksha Yojana in collaboration with ITI Ltd., a Govt. of India enterprise.
The launch ceremony was graced and chaired by Dy. Mayor, JMC, Mrs. Purn-ima Sharma. Commi-ssioner, JMC, Pankaj Magotra, SSP (PCR) Jammu, Kulbir Singh and Councillors and officers of Corporation were present on the occasion which was enthusiastically covered by the print and electronic media.
Dy. Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation informed the Councillors and media persons that Jammu Suraksha Yojana is a joint effort of JMC and ITI Ltd. for providing affordable Home security solution to citizens of Jammu City.
Further, Dy. Mayor briefed the gathering that the launch is follow up to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) be-tween Jammu Municipal Corporation and ITI Ltd. signed in December, 2018.
Jaskaran Singh, Director, REIT, a brand owned by ITI Ltd. briefed the media and the Councillors about the highly advantageous and affordable digital security solution to the residents.
Commissioner, Jam-mu Municipal Corpo-ration, Pankaj Magotra briefed the Councillors and media persons about the salient features and plan of action for the implementation of the Yojana.
He also presented the vote of thanks to the Dy. Mayor, Councillors, SSP (PCR), representatives from ITI Ltd.
and media for participation in launch of Jammu Suraksha Yojana and sought cooperation of all in making the yojana highly successful and popular among the citizens of Jammu city.
