CUK holds debate competition

Ganderbal, June 21: School of Education, Central University of Kashmir (CUK) students, organised a debate competition on the 'Boon and Bane of Mobile Phones' at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Saloora here. Dean School of Education, Dr. Syed Zahoor Geelani, who presided over the function, felicitated the students and deliberated on the harmful impacts of excessive use of mobile phone. The competition was organised by Ms. Malik Nasirat Jan, Ms. Mumtaza, Mr. Zaffarullah Rashid, Ms. Ulafath Mukhtar, Ms. Shaista Hassan and Ms. Neelofar Bashir under the supervision of Ms. S. Arokia Mary, Assistant Professor.
Eleventh standard students participated in the competition and discussed various critical issues regarding excessive use of mobile phones.
Ms. Sumera Mushtaq and Ms. Towqeer un Nissa were jointly adjudged as the best presenters during the competition.
