Poetry marks PLS Fortnightly Literary Meeting

JAMMU, Jun 22: Fort-nightly literary meeting of Punjabi Lekhak Sabha (Regd.), Jammu was organized at Tagore Public Hr. Secondary School, Rani Bagh, Digiana, Jammu today. S. Kulwant Singh, a poet from Kashmir and S. Amar Singh Kuka, a Punjabi Ghazal poet & acting President of Punjabi Lekhak Sabha, Jammu, jointly presided over the meeting. Writers and poets of Punjabi attended the meeting and presented their creations.
S. Devinder Singh Vishavnagrik, former President, PLS welcomed the poets and writers who attended the meeting.
An article and a mini- story were presented by Pritam Singh Anjaan. A Kavi Darbar was conducted where Pritam Singh Anjaan, Devinder Singh Vishavnagrik, Jang S. Verman, Kul-want Singh and Amar Singh Kuka recited their poems in two rounds in the Kavi Darbar. The poems were based on various themes depicting different aspects of life. A discussion on mini- story, article and poetry read out in the meeting was held to ponder over the merits and demerits of the items presented in the meeting. In his address S. Kulwant Singh and Amar Singh Kuka expressed their satisfaction on the quality of article and poetry presented by the writers and poets during the meeting and appreciated Punjabi Lekhak Sabha for keeping the meetings going on regularly.
