DC visits DH, enquires about health of injured

RAMBAN Jun 25: Three children lost their lives while 4 others sustained serious injuries when a dumper on way to Kundi from Karol plunged into river Chenab in Karol from a link road 6 KM away from Ramban.
As per police report one person is missing in the accident.
At around 3 pm, when the dumper was on its way towards Kundi the driver lost his control over the vehicle which skidded off the road and rolled down into river.
One seriously injured person was shifted to GMC, Jammu for specialized treatment while 3 passengers were admitted in District Hospital Ramban while rescue operation to search the missing person is going on till last information.
After receiving information of accident, Police, QRT and SDRF teams rushed to the spot and started rescue operation which was monitored by the officers of district administration. Deputy Commissioner, Ramban Showkat Aijaz Bhat and SSP, Ramban, Anita Sharma, SSP, Traffic NH, JS Johar, ADDC, Nawab Din, ADC, Dr. Basharat Hussain and various other officers visited in district hospital Ramban and enquired about health of injured .
Deputy Commissioner was briefed by the doctors about the health condition of the victims and the treatment being provided to them.
He directed the hospital administration to extend best-possible treatment to the injured for early recovery.
