Adequate stock of essentials available in Kashmir division: Sharma

SRINAGAR, Aug 16: The Advisor to Governor K. K. Sharma today said that adequate stock of all the essential supplies are available throughout the Kashmir division and Government is taking all the measures to ensure their delivery to the people.
The Advisor stated this while chairing a meeting here to review stock and supply position of ration, petrol, k-oil, medicines and other essentials.
Chief Secretary B.V.R Subhramaniyam, Prin-cipal Secretary Housing and Urban Development Dheeraj Gupta, Commis-sioner Secretary PDD, Commissioner Sec-retary PWD, Chief Engineers of PHE, R&B and PDD besides other concerned attended the meeting.
It was said that rice, flour and other ration items are available at all the FCS&CA stores besides there is sufficient stock of petrol and k-oil available at fuel stations and depots.
The meeting was informed that there is no shortage of essential supplies, medical facilities and hospitals continue to function normally, while as electricity, water supply and sanitation measures are maintained.
