When one mentions Shilpa Shetty's name, all we can think about is fitness. The actress is fit and fab at the age of 44 and the reason is her exercise routine. Shilpa daily practices and maintains a healthy lifestyle.
Fitness always comes first for the actress and she has never compromised on it. In order to inspire people and help them maintain a healthy routine, Shilpa launched her wellness app, fitness DVD's and also The Great Indian Diet Book.
Although the actress took a step back from her acting career for a while, Shilpa Shetty continued to help and motivate people to keep their health as the top priority.
Because of the fitness icon that she is, an ayurvedic company recently offered a Rs 10 crore deal to Shilpa Shetty to endorse a slimming pill. However, the actress politely refused to take up this offer.
Talking about the same, Shilpa told Mid-Day, "I can't sell something that I don't believe in.
Slimming pills and fad diets can be tempting since they promise instant results, but nothing beats the sense of pride of being committed to your routine and eating right. Lifestyle modification works so much better in the long term." That's the best decision taken by the actress, we say!
On the work front, Shilpa Shetty was last seen in a full-fledged role in Apne starring Bobby Deol, Sunny Deol, Dharmendra, Katrina Kaif and others. The actress is making her much-awaited B-town comeback with Sabbir Khan's Nikamma. Shilpa will be seen sharing screen space with Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota actor Abhimanyu Dassani and social media sensation Shirley Shetia.
Announcing her return to films after 13 years, Shilpa had written, "Yesssssssss, it's true! My sabbatical of 13 long years comes to an end..
I am so excited to announce that the film you will see me next in is #Nikamma, directed by @sabbir24x7 (cast still being finalised) featuring these amazing and talented actors @abhimanyud @shirleysetia @sonypicturesin.
Need all your blessings and Thank you for all the love always." (sic)
