Soni inaugurates 'Feel Foot' center

Amritsar, OCT 13: There are different types of ailments in the feet, for which people have to go to different doctors for different types of illness. But now Amandeep Hospital, Amritsar has resolved this problem of the people by starting treatment of all the diseases of the feet under the one roof with modern doctors & latest machines & modalities. In this connection, the inaugural function was organised at Amandeep Hospital in Amritsar which was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Medical Education, Research, Freedom Fighters & Food Processing Cabinet Minister Mr. OP Soni. Informing about the "Feel Foot" center, the Center Head and chief plastic surgeon of Amandeep Hospital Group Dr. Ravi Mahajan said that it is the first center in India where all kinds of foot ailments such as diabetic foot, corns & callus, , Heel Pain, Foot Pain, In-grown nails, Foot & ankle deformity, Bunions, Hammer, Mallet, & Claw toes, Flattened & High arched feet, leg length shortening, gait changes. We will provide various modalities for treatment of these diseases viz, neuropathy (Foot Nerve scanning, Ankle brachial index (Foot Blood Circulation), Foot Pressure Scan, Video gait analysis, podoscope + 10 minutes insoles, customized insoles & orthofeet footwear nail bracing, corn & callus removal. A separate center has been set up inside the Amandeep Hospital for this purpose.
Appreciating the initiative of the Amandeep Group of Hospitals Cabinet Minister Mr. OP Soni said that it is a matter of pride for not only Amritsar, but the whole of Punjab that India's first "Feel Foot" Centre is established at Amandeep Hospital. It will be known for its specialties all over India for a complete and modern treatment of all kinds of foot ailments. It will also boost medical tourism in Punjab.
