BDC Elections: Training of polling staff culminates at Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, OCT 14: In view of upcoming Block Development Council Elections-2019, training cum awareness on poll process through ballot box to polling staff culminated here today. The training programme was conducted under the supervision of District Panchayat Election Officer, Angrez Singh Rana.
Over 70 polling personnel from different departments were imparted training by District Level Master Trainers Dr. Mohsin Raza (Functional Manager DIC Kishtwar) and Anoop Kumar Sharma (ALC Kishtwar) during the programme.
The District Level Master Trainers gave hands-on training to the participants about the process of polling and collection of polling material, handling of ballot boxes and subsequent counting of votes and other related procedures to be adopted for smooth conduct of BDC Elections. They were also briefed about their duties and responsibilities.
