DM Kishtwar imposes ban on bovine transportation, illegal extraction of stones

KISHTWAR, Oct 15: District Magistrate, Angrez Singh Rana, today imposed ban on transportation of bovine from the district.
The order issued in this regard by DM reads that, "No bovine animal such as Cow, Ox, Calf, Buffalo etc. be transported from Kishtwar to other districts except with the prior permission of District Magistrat e/Additional District Magistrate, Kishtwar".
The order shall come into force with immediate effect and shall remain in force for a period of two months from the date of its issuance or till the same is rescinded, whichever is earlier.
Meanwhile, the DM also imposed complete ban on extraction of stones here in and around Zundil and Shalimar Nallah Kishtwar.
The order issued in this regard by DM reads that ,"In exercise of powers conferred on him under Section 144 CrPC has imposed complete ban on illegal extraction of stones in and around Zundil and Shalimar Nallah Kishtwar.
Further, DM has directed SHO Kishtwar to ensure the implementation of the said order in letter and spirit.
