BJP gears up to celebrate important events in coming days

JAMMU, Oct 16: In a meeting held at party headquarter and chaired by State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, the party leaders discussed series of programmes to be organized in coming days on birthdays of Dogra ruler Maharaja Gulab Singh and Sher-e-Duggar Pt. Premnath Dogra besides celebration of important events carrying historical significance.
The party will perform Havan and felicitate of outstanding sports personalities will take place at Dogra Chowk, Jammu, on October 24, when party leaders remember Pt. Premnath Dogra on his birthday.
The historical event of Accession Day falling on October 26 will be celebrated at all the districts, with main programme at Jammu Club, wherein BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav will be the key speaker. Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookherjee Nyas will be host of this event.
Under country-wide programme of 'Run for Unity' on birthday of Iron Man Sardar Patel on October 31, the party leaders and activists, along with thousands of people of all ages will run from Satwari Chowk to Press Club. In the evening, all the main rotaries of Jammu city will be illuminated with the cooperation of Mahila Morcha.
The party will take out Scooter, Motor Cycle rally on November first, with the participation of BJYM activists.
The party leaders were assigned different tasks for the successful conduct of all these programmes.
The meeting was attended by former State President & Ex-Minister Sat Sharma, former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta, JMC Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta, Ex-MLAs Rajesh Gupta and Rajeev Sharma, State Secretaries Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra, Arvind Gupta and Ajay Pargal, State Office Secretary Tilak Raj Gupta, Mahila Morcha State President Rajni Sethi, BJYM State President Vikas Choudhary, District Presidents Baldev Singh Billawaria and Ayodhya Gupta.
