BJP has relieved Valmiki Samaj of sufferings: Bhagat

Jammu, Oct 17: BJP Anusuchit Jaati Morcha State President Jagdish Bhagat, while speaking to a gathering of the members of Valmiki Samaj in a programme at party headquarter Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, said that the party has relieved this community of the sufferings which they had to bear during the last 70 years under Article-370. These people were not treated as citizens of the state and their educated children could not apply for the government jobs or other benefits. He said that the BJP had always stood for the welfare and upliftment of the weaker section and that after coming to power and getting mighty in Parliament, it abolished Article 370, which is indeed a gift to all these who suffered lot when this temporary provision was in force.
Jagdish Raj Bhagat further said that the Narendra Modi government has taken a number of decision aimed at equal treatment to all at all levels and taking all together in initiative o taking nation to new heights of development and progress. During the programme, former State President of PDP Scheduled Caste Wing Vijay Anand joined the morcha in presence of State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan, Jagdish Bhagat and other leaders.
Prominent leaders of the Morcha including Tilak Raj Gupta, Ashok Gandhi, Dharminder Kumar, Manohar Lal Menia, Prahlad Bhagat, L.D. Gorka, Vidya Devi also greeted the new entrants. Those who joined the Morcha included Sanjay Kumar, Himanshu, Ravi Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Ajay Kumar and John Sotra.
