GDC RS Pura organizes Kavi Darbar

JAMMU, Oct 19: Govt. Degree College R. S. Pura organized a Kavi Darbar in the ongoing celebration of 550thBirth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Jiunder the able guidance of Principal, Dr. Sunita Sudan and supervision of Prof Rajinder Singh, Convener,Organizing Committee. In the Poetry segment, 5 eminent poets viz. Dr. B. S. Raina, S. Amar Singh Kuka, S. Bachan Bharti, S. Jang S. Varman and S. Bhupinder Singh Bhargav participated in the event and presented enlightening and beautiful poems portraying the various life events and teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. About 11 students participated in the poetry competition in whichMaansiof Semester VandMandeepKour of Semester III bagged first , Deepak Choudhary of Semester V and Harshdev Singh of semester I were judged second and Aastha Bharti bagged third in the event.Dr. Richpal Singh, Prof. NargisNelofer, Prof. Anuradha, Dr. Raj Kumar Santhal and Prof. ShavetaChowdhary coordinated the event.
