Army organises cross country competition at Rajouri

JAMMU, DEC 2: Army organised a "Cross Country" competition at Youth Engagement Guidance Node, Thanamandi in Rajouri District to encourage youth for attaining good physical standards and developing competitive spirit.
Around 50 youth from three Tehsils of Rajouri District namely Thanamandi, Keri and Topa participated in the event. Locals flocked Thanamandi throughout the event to cheer the runners and encouraged them.
The top 10 athletes were presented with medals and a certificate of participation.
A high standard of discipline and sportsman spirit was displayed by the participants during the event.
Sarpanch and locals from nearby villages praised the efforts put in by the Army in augmenting the hidden talent of the area.
