DDC Pulwama holds Public Darbar at Sonabanjer Sangerwani

PULWAMA, DEC 2: In order to get first hand appraisal of public grievances and demands District Development Commissi oner Pulwama, Dr Raghav Langer along with district officers today conducted a public darbar at Sonabanjer Sangerwani Pulwama. During the durbar, various public deputations including residents of the Sonabanjer, Kaigam, Sangerwani, adjoining villages and locals called upon the DDC and raised their demands.The demands put forth by the deputations and individuals include uninterrupted power supply, construction of water reservoir , macadamization of roads, road connectivity to Kayawali-Badawali-Natawali, development of lanes ,protection bunds ,setting up of more ration depot's ,setting up of dairy farms, Fire Station at Sangerwani ,ICDS centres, distribution of solar Lights , installation of street lights, better health and education facilities, fencing of School compounds ,improvement in HT, LT power transmission lines and receiving station in the area.
The DDC after listening to various public demands directed concerned officers to ensure prompt and speedy redressal of the issues raised during the darbar. He assured that all issues within his judication will be redressed as early as possible whereas the other all genuine demands will be takenup at appropriate forums for their resolution.
On the occasion, a Medical Camp was organized by BMO Rajpora, and Department of Sheep Husbandry also organized first aid camp and vaccination drive for sheep and Cattle.Later, DDC distributed Baby Kits among mothers of newborn girl childs under BBBP .Among others, the Public Darbar was attended by Tehsildar, officers of R&B, PHE, Health, PDD, block level officers and other .
