“Aao School Chalen” enrolment drive intensifies at Batote

BATOTE, DEC 2: District Administration Ramban today organized a pledge ceremony and rally at Batote, in collaboration with School Education Department, to enhance enrolment in schools of winter zones as a part of the ongoing 3 weeks long special enrolment drive 'Aao School Chalein'.
Programme was presided by the Principal, Government Higher Secondary School, Swarn Singh Jaral. He was accompanied by Headmaster, Government Girls High School, Batote, Mohan Singh. The programme started with a pledge ceremony taken by the students of GGHS who also sang an inspirational song in public at Batote Chowk.
Later, the students of various schools of Education Zone, Batote carrying placards and banners written with inspirational messages took out an awareness rally from GGHS to the GHSS via Batote market.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal said that the aim of the drive is to increase the enrolment in all classes of government schools and residential schools like Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) especially for the SC, ST, BPL, OBC and minorities.
