DDC Kishtwar directs officials to follow issues raised during B2V vigorously

KISHTWAR, DEC 2: District Development Commissioner Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana today chaired a daylong meeting of District/Visiting officers of B2V2 and took feedback of the problems/grievances highlighted by the villagers during their visit in the designated panchayts.
The designated visiting officers apprised DDC about the demands/ grievances raised by the villagers during the B2V2 besides it was apprised that during their visit in panchayats many events/activities were conducted, besides various works had been inaugurated which were taken up under B2V1.
While reviewing the demands/grievances raised by villagers of 136 panchayts of the district, the DDC directed the heads of concerned departments to follow up and submit fortnightly action taken report regarding the genuine grievances/demands as noted down by concerned visiting officers and highlighted by villagers so that the grievances can be redressed at an earliest and big issues/demands could be taken up with higher authorities for early redressal.
He further directed ACD Kishtwar, Nodal Officer B2V2 to circulate the copy of demands/grievances of all 136 panchayts to all respective departments.He added that a committee shall be framed for the issuance of a calendar for holding regular awareness camps of key departments to make rural masses aware of various schemes in furtherance to doubling farmers' income and upliftment of the socio-economic conditions of the rural people.
