CBJ books fraudster for duping the complainant to the tune of Rs 28 Lacs

JAMMU, Dec 3: Crime Branch Jammu registers formal case against fraudster- Upendra Singh Rudradev S/o SukhiLal Singh R/O 108/09 Pocket 10 Rohini Delhi for cheating and duping the complainant to the tune of Rs 28 lacs. by offering him partnership on the pretext of operating different projects with Indian Cooperative Mission (ICOM), New Delhi.
The case owes its origin to a written complaint preferred by one Puran Chand S/O Late Sh. Lal Chand R/O Village Gazipur Kullia District. Jammu. The complainant had alleged that the accused introduced himself as National Head Organization Comm-ittee of Indian Cooperative Mission and cheated complainant by duping him of an amount of Rs 28.00 lacs with criminal and dishonest intension after he was induced by the accused to work with him in Indian Cooperative Mission (ICOM), New Delhi for different projects like Janvardan Health Academy and Prime Minister Preventive Health Mission.
On the basis of the complaint, Crime Branch Jammu took cognizance and initiated a preliminary enquiry. During enquiry it was prima facie established that the complainant was actually defrauded by the accused of his hard earned money. A formal case has been registered in Crime Branch Jammu and the investigation has been set in motion.
