Sawhney sits on dharna with Samba Bar

Samba, Dec 3: Mr. A.K. Sawhney Advocate former President Bar Association Jammu during interaction with the members of the Samba Bar suggested to chalk out the programme in consonance with the Jammu parent bar body to achieve the goal of demands. Much time has already been spent now the litigants are also facing difficulties as their Non-bailable Warrants have been issued for non appearance for their no fault and in some cases the bail is to be extended. The leadership of the bar has to provide some way out to the litigants and general public may not go against the lawyer's agitation. At Samba no Litigant is being permitted to enter Court premises to attend their cases. The door of the main gate leading to entry of courts are closed at 9.30 A.M. daily.
As a consequence Non bailable warrants are issued of innocent litigants, no bail is being extended breeds frustration. In one of the case Samba Bar members caught a bail docket from a clerk who was carrying out of the court premises to deliver the concerned. It was brought into the notice of the court but no concrete steps taken.
Mr. A.K.Sawhney advocate sat on dharna with Samba bar members and expressed solidarity with the lawyer's decision. He expressed his support with said the cause and while interacting with Samba Bar President Mr. Subash Samyal Advocate Mr. Sukhdev, Advocate Mr. Sudershan Advocate to push the programme provided by the parent Bar Jammu amongst others.
