JAMMU, Dec 4: Since the time the government has removed the price barrier cap of the Oil marketing companies such as Bharat petroleum, Indian oil, Hindustan Petroleum there has been havoc and an regular price hike has been done.
The removal of price cap has led to ever increasing prices which has only dented the pockets of the common man as the price of the necessary petroleum products never come down.
The Prime Minister Modi's brainchild Ujjwala Yojna which aims at providing LPG cylinders to the poor people is dented by the cylinder companies. 2.5 crore people has been benefited by the Ujjwal yojna.
In the fourth such consecutive hike this month, run fuel retailers have increased the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders by Rs 13.50 in Delhi.
The workers of Dogra Front & Shiv Sena under the leadership of President Mr ASHOK GUPTA took out a massive protest rally in old Jammu city by cooking on clay pots which signifies the sky high LPG cylinder prices as it has become unaffordable for the common man.
The woman workers cooked rotis on the clay oven as the cylinder prices are ever increasing and slogans were raised against the LPG cylinder companies who are making the loves of common man a living hell.
In November, LPG prices were increased by about Rs 76 a cylinder. In October and September, prices had gone up by around Rs 15 each.
Mr Gupta made an appeal to the beloved PM MODI that the price cap should be again placed on the oil marketing companies as they have been exploiting people's pockets and even if there is an slightest of upward movement in the crude oil the prices of the by products are shooter up.
The party people who were present at the time of protest were Ashu, Surjeet singh, Ramesh, Subash, Anita, Sushma, Nanki, Raj, Seema, Bantu, Prem, Abhishek, Dawasi, Sham, Ajay and various ethers were present.
