Mayor inaugurates various development works

JAMMU, Dce 5: Continuing his drive to provide better development & civic amenities to the people of Jammu city Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor Jam-mu Municipal Corporation today on 05/12/2019 toured in the areas of Rajpura, Shiv nagar & other adjoining localities of ward no.33 & started work of walk way at Shanti Ghat, Shiv nagar ward no.33 which will be completed at the cost of Rs. 5.25 lacs estimate and which was the long pending demands of the inhabitants of the locality.
He also started the construction works of lane and drain at shakti nagar ward no.29 which will be completed at the cost of Rs.5.00 lacs estimate.
He directed the Engineering section of JMC to expedite the other development works on priority basis to minimize the sufferings of school going children as well as old persons. Surinder Chowdhary Councilor W.No.29, keshav Chopra BJP Mandal president, Agyodha gupta, karan Sharma, Ved Sharma, Balwan Singh, Satpal Khajuria, Sahil Sharma, Atul Bakshi, Kushant , Rakesh & other inhabitants along with officers of Engineering Wing of JMC were accompanied the Mayor during the tour.
Later, Mayor also started the construction work of lane and drain which will be completed at the cost of 10.00 lacs at Kali jani ward no. 04. Sunita Koul Cou-ncilor, Jyoti Devi Coun-cilor, Raju, Meenakshi, Chanchala, Parveen, Smt. Anjali, Sahil and prominent citizen of the ward. During the extensive tour of the Mayor who in turn assured the residents that all their genuine issues will be resolved on war footing and also appeal to them to cooperate with the field staff of JMC in making Jammu neat, Clean & green under Swacch Bharat Mission & refrain from using polythene bags& single use plastic in their day to day life & make Jammu really a smart city.
