Students of Dogra Group of Colleges excel in Inter-College Badminton Championship

Jammu,dec 5: An inter-college Badminton Tournament was held in MIER College of Education on 21st of November 2019. Students of Dogra College of Education, Dogra Law College and Dogra Degree College participated with great fervor and enthusiasm in the tournament. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Renu Gupta, Vice Chairperson, MIER. Students along with their coaches of different colleges participated in it.
Singles and doubles Badminton matches for boys and girls were organized. Alok Yadav from Dogra Degree College and Anuttam Kalsotra from Dogra Law College bagged second and third position in boys singles Badminton matches while on other hand Lakshyadeep and Nishant from Dogra Degree College clinched first prize in boys doubles matches while Kirtivan and Ansh Dubey of Dogra Law College got second position. In girls singles, Aditideep Singh from Dogra Law College, Bharti Adgotra from Dogra College of Education won first and second position whereas Taniya and Priya from Dogra College of Education, Taniya and Jhanvi from Dogra Law College got first and second position in girls doubles matches .
Kr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary, Dogra Educational Trust congratulated the winners and sports incharge Mr. Saddam Hussain. He also appreciated the efforts of the winners of Dogra College of Education, Dogra Degree College and Dogra Law College for their remarkable feat and conveyed best wishes to them.
