PHE Employees Asso holds meet

JAMMU, JAN 21: A meeting of PHE Division Akhnoor a unit of the Water Works (PHE) Employees Association was held on 20th January 2020 at Akhnoor under the chairmanship of its Provincial President Balbder Raj. Mitul Sharma the Provincial General Secretary also accompanied him the meeting was organized by the Akhnoor Division President Birbal Sharma and workers of Akhnoor Division. After an impressive meeting the deputation met the Executive Engineer R.K Manju in the meeting with Executive Engineer various demands and problems highlighted.
The President expressed concerned over the exceeding pendency of the Daily Wagers monthly wages and the pick and choose policy of the concerned official who favoured the blue eye workers and ignored the common workers. The height of discrimination is clear from the fact that the favoured once get full pay.
The President also acclaimed fact that the winter this season is extreme and the cold has broken previous records but to our dismay the authorities are quite apathetic towards over trouble.
The President said that the above said problems in addition to many more problems and demands such as:
DPC at Division level, pending wages of Daily Wagers, Repairs of Tube well/ Stations, Provide Torch, Rain Coat, Charcoal etc. were raised by the deputation.
