Ex-Central Paramilitary Forces Welfare Asso. Demands grants of benefit, concession under MHA

KATRA, JAN 22: The Ex-Central Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association R.S.Pura Jammu called a meeting at Green Belt Park Gandhi Nagar, Jammu on 22nd January 2020 at 12.00 Noon and in the said meeting all the members of the Association has participated and was held under D..K. Chauan General Secretary of the Association.
Grant of benefits and concession extended to Armed Force under the MHA on the pattern of Armed Forces under MOD being face the enemy and sacrifice with the same vigor, valor and patriotism and suffer consequences like Defense Forces but the benefits and concessions is not extended to Armed Force working under HMA which is against the law and the ethics of natural justice. The service condition of paramilitary Forces is strong set of Acts with the provision to award punishments upto the court Marital similar to Defense force but unfortunately their pay perks and post retirement benefits including pension are governed by CCS (Pension) Rules 1972 which are being provided the benefits only equal to Central Govt Civilian Employees and even members, widows and dependants of the Paramilitary Forces are deprived in front of their fellow citizen and family members while they are exposed to similar risk pattern as Defense forces.
