Army organises lecture at Kishtwar

JAMMU, JAN 23: In its effort to pull away youth of the region from militancy and radicalization the Army undertook a unique step and organised a "Lecture on Radicalization Indicators for Parents of Youth" at Pinjrar and Cherji regions of Kishtwar District.
The lecture was primarily aimed at reaching out to the parents of local youths and stressing the importance of their role in their children's lives. Emphasis was laid on how the parents can impact the children life and how their efforts can prevent their children from going to the wrong track. The lecture covered how the inimical agents misguide the youth and how the parents can identify whether their children are getting radicalized. Approximately 73 Locals attended the lecture.
The parents have appreciated the effort of the Army and requested that such lectures should be conducted more frequently.
