Union Ministers visit non-productive like Back to Village prg: Sadhotra

Jammu, Jan 23: Much hyped visit of Union Ministers in Jammu & Kashmir has proved to be non-productive said Mr. Ajay Kumar Sadhotra in a Press statement issued here today. He termed it as a flop show. He further said as usual BJP Govt. has given much media hype to this visit of union Ministers and the hopes and expectations of common man have been raised very high but net result is like Back to Village programme of state Govt. & expectation of common man got disappointment Mr. Sadhotra has alleged that common man suffered a lot due to this visit as officers/ officials of different Depart-ments at local level were busy in Protocol duties and were making arrangements for the visit of Union Ministers and day to day problems of the common man remained unattended and he was feeling helpless. He said all the already sanctioned works were inaugurated even many works were started by previous Govts.it was only cutting of RIBON Programme, nothing new on the ground.
The youth were expecting big contingent of Union Ministers will bring thousands of avenues of employment, with a ever biggest employment package, Kisans were hoping they will get huge compensation for Loss of their 100% Kharif and Rabi crops. Border dwellers were hoping ever biggest package for them. The traders of J&K who are facing ever slowest economy were also expecting a big pacakage. The contractors were hoping for clearance of their all liabilities in MGNREGA, Irrigation, PHE, R&B & other departments. Tourism industry is also worst sufferer. They were also expecting huge package. The industry were also very hopeful for getting ever biggest incentive for development & promotion of industry in Jammu and Kashmir.
Common people were pinning their hope on the visit of Brigade of Union Minister for speedy and overall development of Jammu and Kashmir but to utter surprise for the common people this visit turned a bad experience and failed experiment Hopes and expectations of common man got frustration as it was during Back To Village programme. People have been be fooled by the BJP Govt. he asserted.
National Conference Senior Leader asked the BJP Govt. not to mislead and befool the people of Jammu &Kashmir by such hyped programmes Jammu and Kashmir being sensitive and Bordering region. As the people of Jammu &Kashmir are already badly hurt due to lowering down of their status from STATE to Union Territory and division of state into two territories by snatching Special Status of the state by abrogating Article 370.
