BSF organises medical camp

JAMMU, JAN 24: On the directions of N S Jamwal, Inspector General, Frontier HQ BSF Jammu a medical camp has been organized. Orthopedic specialist Dr Rajeev Verma, Gastroenterologist specialist Dr Manoj Gupta, Cardiologist specialist Dr Sanjay Kumar of Manipal Hospital, New Delhi participated and gave his valuable services for the families, children & serving persons of BSF.
Dr A K Sahi, Commandant (Medical) BSF Jammu organized this camp and gave welcome address on the occasion. The medical camp was inaugurated by BWWA President Rajni Jamwal. On this occasion BWWA President Rajni Jamwal thanked the team of doctors of Manipal Hospital New Delhi to gave his valuable service for the BSF personals and his families also told that heart diseases are the world's leading cause of death. Overeating, lack of exercise, unhealthy diet and high blood pressure, raised cholesterol and glucose level are all factors which can trigger heart diseases and threatens our lives. He emphasized that heart problem can be prevented by taking due precautions and changing our lifestyle. About 250 BSF personnel and their families were present on the occasion and immensely benefited from this medical camp.
