JK Convent School celebrates 10th Annual Day

JAMMU, Feb 16: Students and staff of JK Convent Pre-School Subash Nagar, celebrated its 10th Annual Day function, here at Abhinav Theatre, Jammu. The function begins with the lighting of the lamp by the Chairman of the school Mr. Rohit Bains, Principal Mrs. Renuka Verma and the worthy dignitaries.
After the lighting of the lamp, a colorful cultural program was presented by the students of the school. Every performance was unique in nature. A play'Idgah' based on a story written by Munshi Premchand was also presented very convincingly by the students. The play was directed by one of the renowned theatre directors of the state, Mr. Ravinder Sharma and the dance performances were choreographed by Vimal Koul and Sunil. A dance competition between grandfathers and grandmothers was also held. Bhagavad Geeta was also presented to the students of the school.
In the end, Mr. Rohit Bains, Chairman of the school presented the vote of thanks. Mr. Sham Lal was the chief guest, Mr. Rameshwar Singh Manhas the guest of honor and Mr. Sohan Singh was, Mr. Joginder Kumar Sharma, Mr. Vijay Sharma were the special guests on the occasion. The show was anchored by J&K's best anchor Kusum Tickoo who mesmerized the entire audience with her magical anchoring.
