Handwara Police booked 35 persons for defying prohibitory orders

HANDWARA, MAR 23: On 23.03.2020 Police station Handwara arrested as many as 16 violators and seized 13 vehicles who were found violating the Govt orders issued u/s 144 Crpc. In this connection FIR No 71,72,73/2020 u/s 188 stand Registered in police station Handwara , while in police station kralgund 7 violators have been booked and 7 vehicles seized for violating the directions imposed under u/s 144 CrPC. In this connection FIR no 23/2020 u/s 188 CrPC stands registered in police station kralgund. In Police Station Vilgam FIR NO 14/2020 u/s 188 Crpc stands registered and 6 violators have been arrested and 3 vehicles seized Police Station Qalamabad booked 6 violators who have been found violating the restrictions imposed u/s 144 crpc. In this connection Fir 15/2020 u/s 188 Crpc stands registered and investigation is going on Handwara police has once again requested the general public of Handwara to follow the restrictions imposed by district magistrate in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 and those who are violating the restrictions imposed under 144 Crpc will be dealt strictly.
